The Philanthropy Lead is responsible for the execution and development of meaningful engagement plans for major donors across a variety of Institute research projects, whilst also supporting acquisition targets to maintain and grow our major giving pipeline.

Working with a variety of stakeholders, you will need to be agile and responsive, whilst being self-motivated to drive real action and change. We are a passionate, collaborative team, working towards our shared vision of curing childhood cancer as we enter an exciting new chapter at the Institute, moving into the Minderoo Children’s Comprehensive Cancer Centre.

**As our Philanthropy Lead your purpose will be to**:

- Work alongside the Philanthropy Relationship Manager, developing the strategy and execution of bespoke engagement plans for our most valuable supporters
- Track and report on the impact of philanthropic activities
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders for both online and face-to-face interactions to develop strong and meaningful relationships to drive successful outcomes
- Inspire new and existing supporters to grow their partnership with a world-leading research institute.
- Partner with the wider Marketing and Fundraising team to enable the successful execution of the broader team strategy, including external communications, donor engagement, and events

**To succeed you will have**
- Demonstrated experience in fundraising or the commercial sector working with mid-high value supporters/clients and delivering exceptional customer service
- The ability to think critically, make considered decisions, and work to tight deadlines and budgets
