**About the role**:
This role is part of the Engagement Team and, within it, the Philanthropy Team, responsible for generating income for Bush Heritage’s conservation work from individuals, philanthropic trusts and foundations, and Government grant programs.
While reporting to the Major Gifts and Grant Manager, the role supports the entire philanthropy team to work effectively by coordinating incoming and outgoing work, providing administrative assistance and Ad-Hoc project support.
This role assists the Philanthropy team to develop and steward strong relationships with major donors and prospects by providing CRM database support, drafting, collating and filing donor reports, assisting with administration around donor events and trips, coordinating communications to donors from Philanthropy team and Senior Leaders, and assisting with development of policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflows.
The incumbent will work between Monday and Friday, with flexibility around days, and a commitment to at least 3 days in the office (either Sydney or Melbourne).

**What you'll need to succeed**:
- Great organisational skills and ability to work with staff who work remotely.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite and ability to get across new software and systems quickly.
- A respectful and collaborative approach, with the ability to work with people from all walks of life and across all levels of the organization.
- A passion for learning and an interest in fundraising generally (interest in Major Gifts Philanthropy specifically and/or Grants writing is desirable).
- Experience in project managing smaller projects, activities or otherwise organizing stakeholders with proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing workflows, processes and proactively seeking opportunities to improve these.
