**Job Description**:

The primary responsibility of the role is to perform tasks related to effective day to day coordination of security activities to ensure ongoing security assurance in accordance with corporate policies, the Protective Security Policy Framework and the Defence Security Principles Framework.

Under the direction of a designated supervisor, you will perform the following functions as individual assignments or as part of a team:

- Implementation of policy and procedures oversight and governance to satisfy corporate policy and procedures.
- Personnel Security Clearance Management Duties.
- Security incident reporting and management.
- Provide security advice and support to program management and employees in line with the corporate requirements, PSPF,DSPF, ISM, and other relevant standards/Publications.

**Qualifications**:
At least a Certificate IV in Secuerity and Risk Management or Certificate IV in Government Security (Personnel Vetting), from an accredited institution or a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with some relevant working experience and specialised training that commensurate with the assignment.

**Experience**

Coupled with your education and practical experience, you will demonstrate a pro-active approach with the ability to understand the business, identify issues and develop relationships to achieve the company’s objectives. You will also have:

- Some experience working in a similar role within the Defence industry or Federal Government agency.
- Some experience with the relevant technologies and domains (EACS and SAS).

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to be able to hold an NV-1 security clearance.

Applicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements. In certain circumstances this can place limitations on persons who hold dual nationality, permanent residency or are former nationals of certain countries as per ITAR 126.1.
