**About the opportunity**:
Reporting to the Senior Lead, Collections and Client Engagement, you will help play a key role in navigating operational priorities, resolving complex cases, and building strong partnerships across teams and with clients. **About you**

To be successful you will:

- Manage complex debtor cases and suggest tailored solutions.
- Monitor client compliance and recommend process improvements.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure enforcement actions align with the _Fines Enforcement and Debt Recovery Act 2017_.
- Collaborate with the team to resolve escalated matters.
- Be familiar with omni-channel services and to help evolve client treatment strategies
- Lead minor continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support team capability through knowledge sharing.
- Maintain accurate records and generate & maintain business reports.
- Be a strong communicator with a client-first mindset.
- Be a problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments.

The Fines Enforcement and Recovery Unit (Fines Unit) is a business unit of the DTF and is responsible for the effective collection, resolution and enforcement of overdue fines and other debts owed to the state to assist in meeting the overall DTF strategic goals and objectives.
