**Sales Associate - QLD**

***The Position**

***About the role**

***Responsibilities**
- Identify business opportunities within QLD in the Custom Build divisions with key stakeholders from Local Government Authorities’, asset owners, engineers and contractors.
- Identifying and qualifying/ quantifying leads and opportunities to turn into quotes.
- Promote the company’s products/services through presentation and actively attending conferences.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Present to engineering consultants and local governments to assist in growing product knowledge and establish specification in projects.
- Using the company's CRM, maintain contacts and records of communication, enquiries, sales and pipeline etc.
- General administration of sales and quoting process ensuring client expectations and deadlines are achieved.
- The territory encompasses QLD so travel is a prerequisite within the prescribed territory, plus some travel within other Australian states and overseas for meetings may be required.
- Work on various projects under the direction of the State Business Development Manager including the understanding of competitive pricing & FRP Composites market.

**Skills and Experience / Qualifications**
- Friendly personality & cheerful outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge in MS Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within QLD as required.
- Results focused and outcome oriented.
- Strong time management skills and ability to work well in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of the Local, State and Federal Government construction market, along with the general civil construction market, and an understanding of the contract and tendering process is desirable but not essential.
