**Community Engagement Manager - NSW Government**

A Community Engagement Manager is required by a NSW Government department based in the Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid) on an initial 12-month contract with likely ongoing extensions.
- **Location: Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid)**:

- **Hours: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week**:

- **Pay Rate: Up to $650 per day + Super**:

- **Contract Length: 12 months with likely ongoing extensions**

**Primary Purpose of the Role**:
As the Community Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for implementing the strategy, delivery & process improvement for local stakeholder & community engagement on behalf of the department from the early planning, design & construction through to maintenance portfolios.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Successfully project manage several different communication & engagement activities & events including workshops, briefings, surveys, community outreach activities etc.
- Implement a range of appropriate communication tools & materials to support engagement
- Account manage communication & engagement requirements for projects
- Build & maintain strong relationships with community representatives & departmental staff to support the successful delivery of programs

**About You**:

- Relevant tertiary-level qualifications & demonstrated experience in event management, communications & community engagement
- Prior Government experience with additional exposure to working on infrastructure projects in community engagement is highly desirable
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement & communication skills
- Demonstrated experience managing competing deadlines & several large projects simultaneously
