Our electric bikes and scooters have powered 700+ million rides in 250+ cities on 5 continents, replacing an estimated 150+ million car trips. Named a Time 100 Most Influential Company and Fast Company Brand That Matters, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally.

Lime, the world's leader in shared micromobility, is seeking an exceptional Strategic Partnership Lead to join our Sydney team. In this role, you will lead meaningful connections with the communities we serve across Greater Sydney.

This is a unique opportunity to join the world's largest shared electric vehicle company, helping make cities more liveable and positioning Sydney as a global leader in innovative, sustainable micromobility. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across Asia-Pacific, gaining exposure to strategy, operations, and engagement in one of Lime's fastest-growing markets.

We're seeking an experienced Strategic Partnership Lead to manage Lime's community and council engagement in Sydney. This role will strengthen relationships with council staff, local communities, and key partners, ensuring Lime's operations align with Sydney's transport and sustainability goals.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in transport, mobility, or local government, paired with a deep understanding of Sydney's council landscape. You'll represent Lime in meetings, build local partnerships, and deliver initiatives that reflect our commitment to safe, sustainable transport.

What you'll do:

  • Council Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with council staff, providing regular updates, coordinating feedback, and ensuring transparent communication on Lime's operations and initiatives.

  • Community Partnerships: Identify and establish partnerships with local organisations, advocacy groups, and other stakeholders to support Lime's work and benefit Sydney communities.

  • Community Events: Lead Lime's presence at community activations, rider education programs, and safety campaigns; coordinate and attend events across Sydney, including some evenings and weekends.

  • Advocacy & Representation: Represent Lime in local council and community meetings to address concerns, share data, and demonstrate Lime's contribution to sustainable mobility.

  • Program Development: Work closely with the Public Policy, Communications, and Operations teams to design and deliver engagement strategies, integrate community feedback, and prepare clear reporting for councils and internal teams.

  • Local Expertise: Provide insights on Sydney's transport priorities, council decision-making, and community context to inform Lime's broader Sydney strategy.

About you:

  • 3+ years of experience in community engagement, transport, local government, advocacy, or partnerships.

  • Strong understanding of Sydney's transport priorities and council processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence engaging diverse audiences.

  • Passion for sustainable transport and community-building initiatives.

  • Flexibility for regular evening and weekend events, and ability to travel across Sydney.

  • This role must be based in Greater Sydney

Preferred Experience:

  • 1+ year of direct experience working with or within councils or government agencies.
