How will your ideas contribute to shaping what’s next?

As our new Rail Civil Drafter, you’ll be a vital part of the team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. You’ll be part of our Queensland Transport team based in our Brisbane office. Our team works on a range of projects, providing feasibility, concept design including detailed design delivered for TMR, government agency clients and Contractor partners.

Your role will include:

- Lead the sharing of knowledge with junior drafters.
- Lead and role model the development of technical and digital expertise.
- Champion the adoption of new and emerging technologies and ways of working, as part of Aurecon’s digital futures platform.
- Be the single point of contact and accountability for drafting within the team and on projects.
- Be part of a supportive team that works together to meet our client’s goals.

We are looking for an experienced civil drafter to support our rail civil design teams with the following key qualities:

- Have at least 5 years of drafting experience.
- Have a strong foundation of utilising cloud collaboration tools for file sharing and communication.
- Understand the fundamentals of good digital information management.
- Lead by example in staying up to date on digital trends within the digital capability areas.
- Coach team members to build digital capability.
