Our Bridges, Aviation & Roads team works on large-scale transport and infrastructure projects, leveraging the latest technology and a culture of innovation across the planning, design, and management disciplines to deliver connectivity, mobility, and resiliency to Australian communities.

Our recent projects include:

- Boundary Road (Coopers Plains) Rail Level Crossing
- Bruce Highway, Uhlmann Road to Buchanan Road Upgrade
- Beerburrum to Nambour Rail Upgrade
- Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail
- Queensland Train Manufacturing Program

This role will be based in Brisbane and is paying an attractive salary package (inclusive of superannuation) of $80k - $90k commensurate with experience.

**What you’ll do**:
Working on multi-disciplinary projects you will:

- Prepare engineering drawings form sketches and design information with assistance from Senior Civil Technicians.
- Liaise with other technicians, designers and project team engineers to ensure timely delivery of project drawings.
- Manage and issue drawings for complex engineering projects with some assistance.
- Carry out assigned project work as delegated in support of technical and commercial standards
- Contribute as requested to the development of CADD support tools for the business.
- Develop general awareness of Industry products and their integration with the BIM/DE process
- Comply with all role-specific SHEQ obligations
- Assist in raising WSP’s technical standing, particularly in the transport / engineering civil disciplines.

**About you**:

- Experienced Civil Technician (Drafter), typically with 4 - 7 years’ experience.
- Associate Degree or Civil Engineering qualification, or similar.
- Mid-level drafting and detailing skills.
- Good working knowledge of Queensland TMR standards
- Proficient operator of AutoCAD.
- ProjectWise working knowledge preferable.
- Open to flexible working hours and office locations
- Works well in a busy and at times pressured environment.
- Team orientated individual.
- Time management skills and work motivated.
- Excellent communication skills - including written and spoken.
