About the role
The Nurse Manager/Team Leader is accountable for all the operational managerial aspects and leadership of the Service Wide Integrated Function Team (SWIFT) - a multi-disciplinary inpatient mental health team providing services to consumers within the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Service (MHAIS).

About you
- Demonstrated expert level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex contemporary clinical practice, and evidence-based mental health service provision, in relation to adults diagnosed with severe mental illness.
- Work collaboratively within a complex stakeholder and systemic framework with internal Queensland Health Services, and external government, non-government, and private health sector service providers to achieve the best outcomes for the client.
- Demonstrated ability to provide operational leadership, strategic direction, quality improvement and management to a multidisciplinary inpatient mental health setting.
- Current Authorised Mental Health Practitioner under the Mental Health Act 2016 or working towards obtaining.
- Post graduate qualification in mental health nursing would be desirable.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
