A unique opportunity in the Australian market for an experienced audit manager to join Endeavour Group at this exciting time in its evolution. As a key member of Endeavour Group’s Internal Audit function, this role will be deeply involved in shaping the new Endeavour Group of the future.

**A Day in the Life of an Audit Manager**

Reporting to the Senior Audit Manager - Store & Hotel Operations, you will support the delivery of IA objectives, which are providing independent, objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve the organisation's operations.
- Own, take responsibility and develop Endeavour’s Safety, Health & Wellbeing Audit function.
- This is achieved predominantly through leading and conducting assurance engagements, supporting management in delivering the annual audit plan, and providing coaching to team members.
- The primary objective of this role is to develop, plan and manage the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Assurance Program and provide independent and objective assurance of compliance with processes and procedures, strategies, plans and objectives.
- This role will also ensure that safety, health and workers compensation self insurance licence requirements are met in line with Board and State licensing requirements through completion of safety management system audits.
- The Audit Manager will also provide advisory services and promote continuous improvement in safety performance and safety management systems within the Endeavour Group.

**Key priorities**
- Management of the Audit function: As a manager of the Audit function, you will manage a team of professionals and develop a collaborative and business-partnering focused culture. The role will be responsible for building and maintaining a high performing team and processes, leveraging both internal and external resources, to cover audit requirements across all risk areas.
- Promoting quality risk management across the Group: As Endeavour Group continues to grow and evolve, the adoption of risk management practices through the appropriate risk framework to manage a wide range of risks, is critical. You will be responsible for partnering with the business and Risk management teams to achieve this work.
- Collaborating with and influencing the business - you will be a visible, energetic and collaborative team player, able to create long-lasting productive relationships, with deep foundations. Through these relationships, others will be motivated to work closely with you and therefore contribute to the broader business. You will actively invest in relationships and have a broad array of influencing styles across the leadership landscape within Endeavour Group.

**Key accountabilities**
- Audit the Safety, Health & Wellbeing Management Systems and Injury Management Self Insurance Licence Requirements;
- Develop and execute audit programs in line with the annual plan;
- Lead the execution of high risk operations audits in the retail & hotel businesses identifying and assessing key risks in operational controls;
- QA operations audits ensuring a high quality and accurate deliverable;
- Present audit findings in both written and verbal format to clearly communicate to various levels of management;
- Complete reviews which are factually accurate and risk based in an efficient and effective manner

**What You'll Need to Succeed**
- Qualified Safety, Health & Wellbeing professional
- 5+ years experience in auditing Safety Management Systems;
- Understanding of Safety, Health & Wellbeing Management Systems;
- Knowledge and understanding in auditing Safety, Health & Wellbeing Legislative and Self Insurance requirements;
- Experience within audit across Operations, Ret
