**This much loved Eastern suburbs hotel recently refurbished is looking for its next leader in the form of Venue Assistant Manager.**

**About us**:
In all its art-deco glory, The Robin Hood Hotel is located on the corner of Bronte & Carrington Roads in Waverley (Charing Cross). Originally built by Tooth & Co, in 1938, the venue strives to be the finest 'local' in the Eastern Suburbs, providing live entertainment & consistently great food & beverage options. The Hotel aims to provide patrons with an ever changing selection of craft beers, fine wines & seasonal produce. Lorraines Bistro the newest addition to our stable of offerings is our French inspired bistro to enjoy sun drenched afternoons & evenings drinking & dining with friends & family.

**About the role**:
You will be responsible for assisting with the management of all operational undertakings within this much loved local high volume hotel. To do this successfully you will have a passion for old school hospitality, interacting with customers & staff alike, driving the business forward whilst hitting targets.

You'll oversee the food, beverage & events within the venue along with some gaming oversite..... You need to be hands on & show willingness to roll up your sleeves & support the team across the entire venue for mutual success.

The role being operational in nature involves some nights & weekend work across a roving roster.
- humble, down to earth, able to use initiative & show exceptional leadership skills
- able to remain calm under pressure, creating a collaborative & productive energy across the team
- able to think on your feet, problem solve on the run & be adaptable
- Highly organised
- Can run a busy service effectively
- Plus have 4 years of supervisory experience to draw upon
- Can do all the above with a smile
