Are you a highly motivated Events Planner who is looking for your next challenge or career move?

Our client is an Event Planning business who are going through a growth period and are looking for a superstar to join their small, very busy team.

The role:

- You will be event planning gala dinners, lavish private parties, award evenings, corporate functions and weddings to name a few.
- You will have a natural passion for planning events from concept through to completion.
- You don’t need to be creative, but understand how to work with a creative person to give them what they want.

Do you have experience with
- Overseeing contracts, invoicing, and quoting
- Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders
- Financial responsibility, ie managing budgets
- Administration tasks
- Creation of running sheets and floor plans
- Managing guest lists and seating
- Managing the bump in and out
- Oversee all aspects on event days

To be Successful:

- Five years minimum experience in the events industry.
- Be emotionally intelligent/maturity
- Be highly motivated with meticulous organization skills.
- Ability to communicate and understand instruction
- International experience with high end brands and clients desirable
- Autonomous, self-starter
- Passion for the industry
- Adaptable, quick thinking and solution focused
- Exceptional presentation

This is not your typical 9-5 role, my client believes in authenticity and working your own hours to ensure the job is done and on time. However, you will be available to work nights and weekends in accordance with calendar events planned and be available to take calls Mon-Fri 9-5pm. It is a highly autonomous role working independently from home predominantly.
