The Star Gold Coast is hiring a Workforce Planner to be responsible for the preparation of day-to-day rosters to ensure operational business needs are met whilst aligning to budgetary and compliance requirements.

A key role involves liaising with internal business functions to ideate the appropriate roster patterns and labour mix, with a focus on equitable workplace policies. You will be optimising rostering tools and implementing effective controls in line with the agreed labour standards and demand planning principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Partner with internal stakeholders to maximise roster efficiency and work-life balance for operational productivity
- Identify errors and gaps in upcoming roster cycles to prevent Team Member shortages
- Review effective controls to guarantee timelines and budgeting requirements are met
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance obligations across business units are clearly articulated and plans are developed to meet these
- Inform key stakeholders about changes in roster requirements and skills shortages for upcoming roster cycles

**What are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Human Resources desirable
- Demonstrated experience in large hospitality venues or similar
- Understanding of WH&S compliance and government regulations
- Capability to facilitate change within departments based on rostering needs
