**About the Role**

A rewarding and challenging role, as a disability support worker, you will be instrumental in providing support for our participants and making positive impact to their quality of life.

**Prior experience in the mental health sector is highly advantageous, with specific expertise in supporting epilepsy, BOC, TIP and complex behavioural clients highly regarded.**

Our Participant is seeking** Male Support Workers **to support him in a** SIL house **setting for personal care, meal preparation, domestic duties and ADL’s.

**The participant needs a 24/7 support therefore your flexibility and availability are essential.**

**Shifts available from Mon - Sunday. AM, PM and Sleepover shifts.**

**Skills & Experience**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Mental health, Epilepsy, BOC, TIP and complex behavioural
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- It is preferred (but not essential) that applicants have attained relevant qualification or are studying disability related qualifications (as per position description)
- Remain calm under pressure, identify risk factors and make sound decisions.
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
