Elysian Support Services is a family-owned service provider that provides individualised and tailored care and support to people living with disabilities. We offer a wide range of support, services and programs to our participants and their families which include Community Access, Supported Individual Living and Short-Term Accommodation.

We are looking for Disability Support Workers to work with clients in Logan QLD 4114 and surrounding suburbs on a casual basis.

**About you**

To be successful in the role, we are looking for people who:

- Are flexible to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, evening, sleepovers, and weekends.
- Have excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach.
- Is reliable and committed to the role.
- Naturally motivated and physically fit.
- Prior experience supporting individuals with complex medical needs and/or behaviours of concern is highly desirable but not essential

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- A minimum certificate III, diploma or qualification in disability or relevant area such as aged care, community services, or health.
- A valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Completion of the NDIS Modules -Worker Orientation & Infection Control (Covid-19)
- Has the legal right to work in Australia, and
- Holds a valid driver’s licence, a reliable vehicle and full comprehensive vehicle insurance, and
- Holds valid Blue, Yellow & NDIS working screening cards, and
- Has a recent police clearance issued within the last 12 months

Employment terms and conditions will be set out in your contract and will be in line with, the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHADS) Award.
