We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Credit Analyst to join our team and contribute to our high-performing Asset Finance credit assessment team.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to partner with brokers, referrers, and our internal sales team to deliver exceptional lending outcomes.
You'll apply critical thinking and sound judgement as you review customer borrowing capacity and assess overall creditworthiness.
You will work as part of a fun, dynamic team who values collaboration, professional growth, and celebrating successes together. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the customer experience, ensuring lending decisions are responsible, compliant, and aligned to our brand promise.
What You'll Be Doing
- Completing credit assessments across non-conforming and near-prime files, ensuring all applications are reviewed thoroughly and accurately.
- Delivering high-quality credit decisions within required turnaround times, consistently meeting individual KPIs while contributing to overall team performance.
- Applying an approval-first mindset aligned with our lending appetite.
- Communicating openly with brokers, BDMs, and direct sales teams to advise on approvals and lending conditions.
- Providing constructive, actionable feedback to brokers and internal sales teams on declined applications to support learning and future deal quality.
- Adhering to all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements, including the NCCP Act, Privacy Act, and AML/CTF obligations.
- Proactively escalating exceptions and potential breaches to management for timely resolution.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar asset finance lending role.
Sound working knowledge of NCCP Act and responsible-lending principles.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proven ability to meet SLAs in a fast-paced, performance-focused team.
- Effective communicator who can build rapport with brokers and internal stakeholders.
