We are looking for a Assistant Director of Finance.

The Assistant Director of Finance manages the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Office. Primary responsibilities include financial analysis and financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control.

**THE ROLE**
- Previous experience in a 5 Star Luxury Hotel
- Advocates sound financial/business decision-making; demonstrates honesty/integrity; leads by example
- Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same within the team
- Leverages strong functional leadership and communication skills to influence the management team and to lead own team
- Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc
- Ensures that the P&L is accurate (i.e., costs are properly matched to revenue, costs are recorded in the proper accounts) and statements are delivered to appropriate individuals in a timely manner
- Reconciles balance sheet and ensures account balances are supported by appropriate documentation in accordance with SOPs
- Has experience in Opera, Birch Street and high proficiency in excel and other accounting suites
- Adhere to OH&S requirements, promptly respond to emergencies, and prioritise the safety of both guests and staff
- Exhibit proficiency in accurately managing accounts, and analysing reports and data
- Closely monitor budgets, expenditure, and revenue to make informed operational decisions and achieve financial objectives

**ABOUT YOU**
- You know how to bring your personality to work and bring the best out of our Talent
- Previous experience in a fast paced hotel environment at a Management Level
- Strong Leadership and team management skills
- Proven track record of outstanding guest satisfaction and being able to create memorable moments
- The ability to drive and manage staff performance across multiple departments
- Must possess professional presentation and sophisticated communication skills
- Proficiency in property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism and poise
