**Job Description**:
**Rockwell Automation is recruiting **We are looking for a **Solution Consultant (Power systems),** preferably based in our **Brisbane **office.

**The Role**

This is a key role within our business who will partner closely with our sales team to lead the front-end of opportunities with a strong focus on our MCC and Medium Voltage Drive solutions. The role has a unique blend of sales, engineering and customer engagement, and is suitable for someone who aspires to be in a customer facing position whilst retaining technical domain expertise.

You will:

- Have the ability to quickly learn and articulate the features and benefits of Rockwell's products and solutions and use this information in developing new customer opportunities for our business.
- Have a strong background in MCC and/or Medium Voltage Drives, and their interaction with process control systems.
- Assist appropriate channels for business in contacting customers at appropriate management levels in the pursuit of systems and solutions business and maintaining present customers and customer base.
- Define and articulate differentiators and values versus competition for the specific solution. Analyze competitive product lines, have knowledge of competitor’s strategy, further define competitive differentiators.
- Collaborates with sales, proposals, engineering and project management team to establish a value proposition, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and gross margin dollars while minimizing risk based on scope identification of system requirements in RFQ documents.

**About You**
- Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent technology related qualification.
- 5+ years of experience in developing solutions for industrial electrical systems including switchrooms, MCCs, and/or Medium Voltage.
- Preferably some sales, customer facing, or business development experience.
- Good knowledge in process control systems will be viewed favorably.
