Host Partnership Manager

ACAP University College is Australia's leading independent provider of tertiary education, delivering accredited courses in psychology, counselling, coaching, criminology, social work, business management and leadership (MBA).

We are seeking a proactive and eager **Host Partnership Manager **to join our Work Integrated Learning (WIL) team, focusing on identifying and building partnerships with host organisations to secure work-integrated learning (WIL) opportunities for students. This role is ideal for an entry to mid-level professional with strong networking skills and a passion for developing long-term partnerships to support student success.

**About the role**

As the Host Partnership Manager, you’ll take the lead in sourcing and fostering relationships with organisations offering diverse WIL opportunities. Your role will involve initiating connections and laying the foundation for successful, lasting partnerships, while student placements themselves are managed by a separate team.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Through business development initiatives identify and source host organisations to expand WIL opportunities across multiple industries and fields.
- Conduct outbound calls and develop new relationships with potential host organisations.
- Represent ACAP at industry events to build networks and promote our profile across various sectors.
- Continue fostering relationships for long term partnerships.

This role provides a balance of autonomy and team support, ideal for someone motivated to develop connections and support student growth through long-term partnerships.

**To be successful in this role, it is essential you possess**:

- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, self-motivated and resilient - eager to pick up the phone and instigate relationships
- Proven ability to identify, build and foster relationships with a consultative approach.
- Relevant experience, a minimum of 12 months experience in a result driven role focused on proactive outreach and relationship management
- Strong negotiation skills, influencing capabilities, and a results-driven mindset.
- A proactive approach to building connections and delivering excellent client service.

**Desirable qualifications: Don’t let these stop you from applying.**
- Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, human resources or business development.
- Experience within the education sector.
- Knowledge of the WIL placement process.
