**About us**

Competency Training (RTO#31299) is an industry leading training brand, owned by Verbrec; with training facilities in Perth, Brisbane (North and West), Central Queensland and Darwin. We deliver publicly scheduled and manage on-site training for some of the largest companies and projects around the world. We specialise in providing Nationally Recognised Training and assessment services for the Construction, Mining & Resources, Oil & Gas, Logistics, Engineering and Electrical industries.

**About the role**

The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving the growth of the division by identifying and generating new business opportunities, developing and implementing sales strategies that create success. Key aspects of this role will be working closely with the national marketing and operations teams, as well as with our clients and industry partners.

As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for:

- Identifying and establishing new sales with potential new clients
- Developing and maintaining relationships with current/past clients
- Develop and review service proposals, tenders, contracts and negotiating prices and terms
- Sending service quotations to clients and following up in a timely manner
- Maintaining and updating our CRM database; ensuring its currency for effective use
- Ensuring that monthly revenue targets are met or exceeded in defined periods
- Managing successful and positive working relationships with staff and external clients, Consulting Professionals and Business Unit Managers.

- Knowledge of safety and technical training course delivery within a RTO, including high risk work licensing and Government funding initiatives within a range of relevant industries
- Sales drive, outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A high motivational persona and be solutions focussed
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Experience of business development in a Regulated training environment
- An ability to meet Monthly targets and Sales KPI’s
- An ability and willingness to travel
- An ability to keep abreast of changes in the Vocational Education and Training sector.
