PFD Fresh to Go (a division of PFD Food Services) is a national manufacturer of quality, short shelf life fresh foods. As a National Provider, our Manufacturing sites operate in six locations across Australia, ensuring we are positioned to service large national and state based customers.

**The Role**

This role involves ensuring that production quality assurance processes are in place and complied with and that records are maintained. This position will see you working on the day shift 4 days a week - the perfect work/life balance

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assign location of production staff during production
- Ensure that all production staff comply with the company dress code
- Ensure that all PFD FTG procedures, specification and policies are adhered to at all times
- Communicate with staff to ensure that all relevant information is relayed effectively and consistently
- Ensure all customer deadlines and specifications are met at all times and notify of any exceptions
- Ensure products are being made according to their recipes/specifications
- Check that all ingredients and packaging has been stored in correct location and in an orderly fashion
- Ensure labels are correct, accurate and up to date
- Carry out daily quality GMP checks
- Ensure lines are set up and sanitised
- Ensure belts and floor are cleaned and food put away and rubbish removed at regular intervals and before breaks

**Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications**
- Proven ability to lead and coach team members
- The ability to provide clear orders and instructions to team members
- Must have food processing experience
- Must be comfortable working in a cold environment
- The ability to have initiative to seek out work with limited directions
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of hygiene, and food safety procedures as well as HACCP principles and procedures
- Proven time management skills
- Be committed, reliable with a strong work ethic

As part of our recruitment process you will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical (including a drug and alcohol test).

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
