**A Snapshot**
Working closely with the Tax team in Sydney HQ, you will make your mark in a number of ways with your positive attitude, growth mindset and ability to get things done in a dynamic environment. This is a greenfield opportunity to be part of shaping our approach to tax in a rapidly expanding regional business. In this varied role you will cover the full spectrum of advisory and compliance work relating to direct, indirect and other taxes, as well as transfer pricing.
**Your Day to Day**:
In this role, your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Providing tax advisory support to our growing business, including:
- Considering the tax implications from our expansion activities across the region;
- Assessing the impact of new laws on the group, including Pillar 2 and thin capitalisation;
- Providing support on other ad hoc tax advisory matters;
- Continuing to maintain & enhance our global transfer pricing framework and models;
- Managing revenue authority interactions;
- Supporting the group's tax reporting obligations in Australia and around the region;
- Contributing to the implementation of the group's approach to country by country reporting;
- Developing and maintaining existing internal and external relationships, for example with service providers and other stakeholders;
- Supporting the implementation of strategic tax initiatives;
- Ensuring all tax policies and procedures are developed, maintained and implemented as required; and
- Managing other tax related matters that arise.
**Requirements**:
- 5 years' experience in a similar tax role;
- Appropriate professional qualifications (CA or equivalent, Solicitor's admission etc);
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Proven ability to work independently to execute on strategic priorities; and
- A self-starter with a growth mindset.
