**Data Analyst - Client Tax Team**

**_ Seeking a Data Analyst working alongside the client tax team within the fund services division._**
- Initial 6-month contract

- $700+Super per day
- Sydney CBD/Hybrid

Looking for a Data Analyst to sit in the Client Tax team**_,_** you will be responsible for supporting the client deliverable process by using data mining and data analysis skills to reconcile accounting data to tax data. Working within the Fund Services division of Investor Services, you’ll work close with the Tax and Accounting teams to understand their data needs and help solve data discrepancies by developing a deep understanding of our core platforms.

**Day to Day**:

- Resolve monthly reconciliation breaks between tax and accounting records that involves deep analysis into large data sets, within set SLAs
- Develop a deep understanding of the key team reporting requirements that help drive their data needs
- Develop efficient ways and make use of available tools that enable faster data investigations
- Establish and evolve the SOPs (standard Operating Procedures) for the reconciliation investigation processes that enable better transfer of knowledge
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Provide key input into projects as required which could include new technology, enhancements, or new products
- Mentor and train others on data analysis

**Requirements**:

- Some understanding of tax and accounting concepts
- Strong excel skills plus experience with other tools such as Alteryx
- Experience in the Funds industry is preferred
