**About the Organisation**
This NFP Member Association is a national body and a pivotal organisation serving and guiding thousands of professionals in their role of forming better communities. Through education, communication, and professional development the organisation has reached a membership base of approximately 5000 members nationally.

**About the Role**
The Events & Communications Manager is responsible for managing the events, professional development program, and communications for the organisation across NSW and ACT. Working with the NSW & ACT State Manager, they will oversee all aspects of events management, and communications, and provide member support.

**About the Person**
You will be an experienced Events or Communications specialist, that takes initiative, has high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and can manage multiple competing priorities. You will be a driven individual who is a proven team player and has a passion for building key stakeholder relationships.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Plan, execute, and promote an annual Professional Development and Events program for NSW & ACT
- Manage the delivery of major events eg. Annual State Conference & Awards Gala
- Liaise and engage with key stakeholders, venues, vendors, caterers, suppliers etc
- Organise and coordinate logistics of events and event registrations
- Create and develop communication materials and update the website eg. E-news, journal
- Manage and oversee events expenditure and budget
- Maintain the CRM system, and database, and conduct Adhoc duties

**To be successful you will have**:

- Experience in events, communications, or project management role
- A high level of initiative, time management, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional relationship management and professional stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
- The ability to work collaboratively in a small team environment
- Experience with CRM systems and database management
- Interests in mentoring and developing team
