DroneShield is seeking a Technical Copywriter with relevant experience to join the team in Sydney, New South Wales. The position will report to Vice President of Design. It represents a unique opportunity to produce written material in the defence space.

The role is primarily focused on writing marketing material and technical documentation. It represents an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual in a new niche but exploding market.

**Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations**
- Edit, proof-read, and produce written marketing materials such as brochures, social media content, and website content.
- Edit, proof-read, and produce written technical documentation such as user manuals.
- The ability to absorb highly technical details and document these details in a way that can be easily understood.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to respond to ad-hoc requests whilst maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain version controls to ensure consistency, compliance, and accuracy of documentation.
- Collaborate with Design, Engineering and Sales teams.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- 1-2+ years proven experience copywriting (in a Technology or Engineering related field preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Writing, English, Communication, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Exceptional written skills and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in SEO optimisation (preferred).
- Familiarity writing in American English (a plus).
