**Embarkation Specialist (Asia/Australia)**
Talento has partnered with a major cruise line on a search for an Embarkation Specialist to join the Asia & Australia market. The Embarkation Specialist will oversee the success of each ships' turnaround day and ensure all aspects of turnarounds are well prepared to execute successfully, ensuring a seamless and consistent customer experience.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Hospitality, or similar experience, preferred
- 1-3 years’ experience with port logistics, ideally in cruise
- Able to travel for months at a time up to 75%
- Experience managing small projects
- Great communication -verbal and written
- skills
- Technically savvy, able to pull reports and understand them to tell a story through data
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee that port employees are successfully activating the Cruise Line's technology while ensuring a great experience during embarkment
- Responsible for reporting, documenting, tracking, and resolving escalations in real-time providing and support for root cause analysis, necessary solutions, and maintaining records both on ship and shore
- Represent the organization's brand. You must be able to act in a professional manner when on and off a ship with guests and crew alike
- Ensure preparation for pre-arrival guest experience needs are completed within 24 hours of turnaround day. Working with fulfilment and data alignment teams to ensure ground handlers have adequate staffing levels for disembarkation and embarkation.
- Ensure concierge level service to hotel guests prior to turnaround.
- Monitor day of disembarkation flows, monitor gangway operations, terminal flow and ensure configuration is set up as approved and adjusted as needed
- Monitor the guest experience in the terminal and direct staffing as needed and interact with guests
- Attend and complete preseason and on-going training with the terminal staff
- Knowledge of system performance by utilizing monitoring and analysis tools
- Monitor all channels of communication that turn around well covered during ops
- Collaborate with internal & external partners to ensure they are creating incremental value with programs to improve traveler’s experience aligning with internal business and operating models, strategies, and priorities as well as their existing relationships
