**About the Role**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Administration Team Leader to contribute to impactful outcomes in the Construction Department. This role supports the Department Manager and Program Leaders by coordinating administrative functions across the delivery portfolio. You’ll lead a team of Admin Assistants, ensure compliance and reporting requirements are met, and drive continuous improvement in student experience and operational efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and coordinate administrative operations across VET programs
- Supervise and mentor administrative staff, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve systems and processes
- Provide high-level support to the Directorate Administrator
- Act as an escalation point for complex student queries
- Maintain relationships with industry stakeholders and apprenticeship providers
- Contribute to policy development and implementation
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality

**Skills and Experience Required**:

- Tertiary qualification with relevant experience in education administration
- Strong leadership and team coordination skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, SharePoint, and educationsystems (e.g., Celcat, Strata, Markbook)
- High-level customer service and communication skills
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of compliance, OH&S, and continuous improvement practices
- Experience in the TAFE sector (desirable)

**Additional Requirements**:

- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
