**YOUR ROLE**

CGU are hiring and we are looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Manager to join our team. This pivotal role leads the Workers’ Compensation claims team in Western Australia with responsibilities including driving industry leading injury management and technical claims service to achieve sustainable outcomes for all. You’ll facilitate a strong relationship between claims, underwriting, business development and claims operations functions. As a member of the claims leadership team you will work with a national team to achieve similar outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

You will be responsible for people, customer, financial and risk outcomes across the portfolio whilst leading the delivery of claims services across WA and be responsible for regulator, employer and intermediary relationships including the reputation of WFI and CGU’s claims business.

Key deliverables for success in this role include the achievement of industry leading service, return-to-work and claims cost outcomes and consistent adherence to all legal and regulatory obligations.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead high performing teams
- Proven experience working in Workers Compensation, personal injury or CTP
- Strong leadership skills through change with the ability to achieve through others
- Experience successfully interacting with and influencing senior stakeholders
- Able to build and maintain trusting and collaborative working relationships
- Strong management resource allocation skills
