NextGen Jobs is hiring on behalf of a Primary School located in Windsor

This role is based within the school's Administration / Reception Department, along with providing assistance with First Aid. Throughout this 12 month Business Traineeship you will gain invaluable skills and experience, all while contributing to your Certificate III in Business.

**About the Role**:

- Maintaining daily student attendance records in accordance with current procedures, including notifying parents/guardians of unexplained absences.
- Fielding enquiries; attending to calls, visitors and students.
- Maintaining and ordering stationery, paper supplies and records of distribution to staff including the monthly preparation of an itemised report for the Business Manager.
- Maintaining Sick Bay, Medical Records and excursion first aid kits, equipment, signage and student attendance records at Sick Bay, including treatment notes and the reporting of incidents and hazards.
- Maintaining First Aid Supplies.
- Updating and distribution of current student medical information.
- Administering appropriate first aid to ill or injured students, staff and visitors whilst ensuring infection control and reporting guidelines are followed.
- Contacting parents/guardians to arrange, where appropriate, for students to go home.

**About You**:

- Has great attention to detail and takes initiative
- General knowledge of Microsoft office programs, including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Mature minded, and well-presented
- Enthusiastic, passionate and confident
- Friendly with a positive can-do attitude
- Strong work ethic and commitment to a 12 month Traineeship
- A great team worker with good organisation skills
- Effective time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
