**The Role**
The Productivity Specialist role will see you deliver and manage engineered labour standards for BIG W stores, and the budgeted end to end impact of these on overall store operational performance. You will ensure that the productivity system labour standards accurately reflect the current business process maps, with all planned process change applied in line with store deployment plans. In addition, you will support the delivery of process change that reduces the cost of doing business, through identifying and valuing opportunities for improvement. This includes working with finance, capacity planning and squads.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To develop and deploy engineered labour standards which accurately reflect expected store operational and customer standards.
- Understand all proposed and developing process change, providing an early productivity impact assessment.
- Identify process improvement opportunities that reduce the cost of doing business within a range of productivity targets, engaging key Business Process Owners and Project teams to enable ideas to be developed.
- Support multiple business stakeholders to drive maximum value from process change that reduces the stores’ cost of doing business
- Work with the identify underlying performance opportunities that are a risk to delivering departmental wage budgets.
- Assist in development of process/data mining strategy for the ongoing measurement of process productivity.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Able to work without direct supervision.
- Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders, and manage multiple tasks with conflicting priorities
- Experience in coaching people to achieve overall project requirements
- Strong process background, with an ability to understand, communicate and challenge processes.
- Tertiary education qualification in mathematics, statistics, engineering or business equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
- Ability to understand and effectively interpret Enterprise Agreements and Awards
- Strong planning and organisational skills with ability to work independently, and across video conferencing as appropriate
- Able to travel interstate and within state
- Training in Lean Six Sigma Methodology (Green Belt) would be an advantage
- Experience using time and motion measument software such as UMT and Minitab
