**Your Impact**

An exciting opportunity for a Safety Coordinator has been made available at our iconic Abbotsford brewery. In this role you will Identifying and prioritising Brewery operational safety and environment issues and strategies to improve performance and deliver the zone aspirational goal of zero harm.

**Note** - This role is permanent part-time - 3 days a week.

Your key accountabilities will be:

- Support the execution of the group EHS Strategy at Brewery.
- Partner with all internal stakeholder groups to champion a Health and Safety culture at the Brewery.
- Coordinating and facilitating timely, expert health and safety advice and assistance to managers/team leaders in managing health and safety, this will also include the promotion of health and safety across the site.
- Maintaining a professional and consultative relationship with elected HSR’s of the designated work groups in the brewery to coordinate HSE related activities.
- Provide support in the management of external relationships involving government HSE regulatory authorities, industry bodies and external HSE consultants.
- Monitor environmental performance and keep abreast of external issues to identify and advise around emerging sustainability or environmental risks.

You are a passionate Safety professional, naturally curious, proactive and innovative, enjoy working in a fast paced and dynamic environment, and are seeking a rewarding career that continuously challenges you.

You will bring:

- Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience in Occupational Health & Safety or a relevant discipline.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with management and front line leaders without direct line authority.
- Proactive & Innovative approach to address emerging trends.
- Working knowledge of relevant Environmental & Workplace Health & Safety Legislation and Australian Standards.
- Proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite ( word, Excel, Outlook), with greater emphasis place on Excel.
