About the Role

As the Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and enhancing the organisation's health, safety and wellbeing systems. The position is offered on a 12‑month fixed-term contract, and allows for flexible work arrangements and hybrid working where suitable.

You will work alongside senior leaders, operational teams and external stakeholders to embed a safety culture, manage risk, and deliver initiatives that support physical and mental wellbeing outcomes across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and refine the health, safety and wellbeing framework
  • Lead initiatives addressing psychosocial risks, mental health and wellbeing
  • Manage reporting, audits and data analysis to inform leadership decisions
  • Support incident response, compliance, return‑to‑work and WorkCover processes
  • Engage with internal committees, managers and external partners to embed a proactive safety culture

Candidate Requirements

  • Formal qualifications in WHS
  • Demonstrated experience in risk management, legislative compliance and safety systems
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to think strategically and operationally
  • Experience across multi-site or diverse environments preferred
