Belair on Broadbeach is looking for an energetic, motivated and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. You will be joining a team who takes pride in the work they complete and who takes on the responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of the maintenance needs of our hotels.

The successful person will have previous maintenance experience. You will have the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team. You must have an eye for detail and be able to think outside the box to problem solve.

- Carry out and complete all maintenance work/requests and ensures high quality of work
- Have sound knowledge of a range of general handywork such as plastering, plumbing, carpentry, pool and painting
- Ability to liaise with Hotel Manager regarding use of contractors within the hotel, controlling expenditure and ensuring work is to the standard required by the company and manufacturer specifications
- Ability to handle and maintain all power tools
- Carry out work and preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with contractors
- Maintaining occupational health and safety requirements by ensuring that work is carried out safely and securing all areas of work at all times

Experience in a similar role within a customer service industry would be an advantage.

This is a casual position which could lead to a fulltime roll for the right person. You will need full unrestricted Australian working rights.
