**Join Our Team at Simple Food Safety**

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced **Food Safety Professional** to represent **Simple** in supporting our flagship client in Perth. This full-time, on-site role involves working closely with chefs, site management, and senior leaders to uphold and continually improve food safety compliance to the highest standards.

**About the Role**

This is a **full-time, site-based position** (Monday-Friday, minimum 38 hours per week) with **flexible working hours** and a **high level of autonomy**. You will play a critical role in maintaining day-to-day compliance with the site’s Food Safety Program and the **Food Standards Code**.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct internal food safety audits (both desktop and walkthroughs)
- Develop, write, and submit audit and compliance reports to site management
- Facilitate weekly food safety induction training
- Collect and submit food samples for microbiological analysis
- Conduct onsite rapid hygiene testing
- Investigate incidents related to:

- Alleged food poisoning
- Foreign object contamination
- Allergen incidents
- Prepare the site for Environmental Health Officer (EHO) inspections and host visits
- Facilitate weekly chef’s meetings with a focus on food safety compliance
- Calibrate handheld probe thermometers internally
- Attend management meetings to discuss food safety performance and improvements
- Work closely with the executive chef team, offering day-to-day support and guidance

**What You’ll Need to Succeed**
- Proven experience in food safety or environmental health
- Strong understanding of the **Food Standards Code** and HACCP principles
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Confidence working independently and communicating with all levels of staff, including executives
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Professional presentation and a proactive attitude
- A current driver’s licence
- Full working rights in Australia
