**About the role**

We are seeking an experienced person to join our operations team to lead and manage production, and perform a range of tasks including:

- Ensure all production activities in Aegros are conducted safely and in accordance with Aegros policies and procedures.
- Implement the goals, objectives, and strategic plan for Aegros Production Department.
- Build and manage production team to maintain efficient and effective manufacturing process and practices that achieves Aegros customer service delivery goals.
- Define key supervisory processes to ensure strict adherence to the Code of GMP and Aegros Corporate Standards and License conditions.
- Plan and manage production of Aegros products according to production schedules and approved specifications and production methods.
- Manage production related non-conformances and deviation and their related corrective and preventive actions.
- Create and update the manufacturing procedures and forms necessary for the manufacture, packaging, and quality control of the products.
- Ensure efficient collaboration and co-ordination between different departments including supply chain, quality, and R&D.
- Manage Production related projects as allocated.
- Ensure the Production Assets of Aegros, including the facility and equipment are kept in an acceptable condition.
- Manage the production team, including allocation of duties, performance management, hiring of new personnel, providing discipline up to and including recommendation of termination of employee’s employment.
- Ensuring all employees and visitors to site adhere to Aegros security and GMP requirements.
- Any other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:
To be the successful applicant for this great opportunity you will have Bachelor degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline with at least 5 years experience in a GMP manufacturing environment (Sterile experience preferred) in a technical or leadership position. Good knowledge of Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Applicable Standard Operating Procedures, Safety and Security procedures, Productivity and lean operations is a must.

You must be able to communicate well in spoken and written word and be a highly motivated and pro-active self-starter.
