**ABOUT THIS ROLE**:
**Primary duties will include**:

- Lead by example and ensure members of the Import Sea & Air team are trained in SOPs and required systems (CargoWise One & PAVE)
- Act as primary escalation point for transport & cartage queries for the Import Sea & Air team
- Pre-empt potential delivery issues and assist in sourcing appropriate transport solutions where required
- Process operational tasks not limited to documentation, invoicing, filing
- Proactively identify and help implement process efficiencies
- Maintain strong relationships with contracted service providers & transport companies
- Ensure relevant systems included CargoWise One are updated
- Regular customer liaison and set the standard for customer service

**Other information**
- This is a full-time position with standard office hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working from home arrangements available after successful completion of probationary period.

- Minimum 3 years’ transport experience in freight forwarding
- At least 1 year experience using CargoWise One and/or PAVE workflow
- Demonstrated ability to solve operational and transport problems
- Confident, clear phone manner and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to facilitate training
