**About The Role**:
The Catering and Event Coordinator provides support to the Catering Sales team and Banquets Operations team to ensure effective operation of the Sales & Marketing Department and Banquet Operations. This person is committed to guest satisfaction and providing an Aloft-style experience every time. More than that, this person has an eye for detail and never fails to strive for perfection whilst delivering an on-brand experience, always.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Minimum 1 year experience in a banquet operations and event planning role preferable.
- Flexibility with working hours (early mornings, late nights)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with good time management
- Proficient in English and have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have an eye for detail and takes ownership
- Hybrid role focused on both the pre-planning and operational execution of events.
- Manage the finalisation of client's planning process to ensure all requests are met in timely manner
- Liaise on the day with stakeholders to ensure event is executed operationally in line with the client's vision
- Drive and ensure a high level of event service
