**Role Overview**
The Studio Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Tanya Pearson Academy. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong leadership, and the ability to maintain a collaborative and welcoming environment for staff, students, and parents. The Studio Manager will work closely with the administrative team and faculty to uphold the academy’s high standards of excellence.
**Key ResponsibilitiesStudio Operations**
- Oversee the daily operations of the academy, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standard.
- Manage studio bookings and schedules for classes, rehearsals, and events.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs of studio equipment and facilities.
**Administration & Coordination**
- Manage enrolments, timetables, and student attendance records.
- Liaise with teachers, parents, and students to provide timely communication and address inquiries or concerns.
- Support the planning and execution of performances, workshops, and other events.
**Team Leadership**
- Supervise and support administrative staff, ensuring a cohesive and productive team environment.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure the seamless delivery of training programs.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss operational updates and foster open communication.
**Financial Management**
- Monitor budgets for studio operations and events in collaboration with the finance team.
- Oversee invoicing and fee collection processes.
- Maintain accurate records of expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
**Customer Service**
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, and stakeholders, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Resolve complaints or issues promptly, maintaining the academy’s reputation for excellence in customer service.
**Compliance & Safety**
- Ensure compliance with all workplace health and safety regulations.
- Implement and monitor child safety protocols in accordance with academy policies.
**Key Skills & Requirements**
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar managerial or operations role, preferably in the performing arts or education sector.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to manage and motivate teams.
- **Organization**: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- **Communication**: Outstanding interpersonal and written communication skills.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in office management tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- **Customer Service**: A customer-focused mindset with the ability to resolve issues diplomatically.
- **Knowledge**: Familiarity with the dance or performing arts industry is highly desirable.
- **Flexibility**: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, during peak times or events.
- **Compliance**: Current Working with Children Check and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Pay: $54,007.03 - $80,000.00 per year
