- Our flagship campus is in Sydney. We also have a campus in Melbourne and co-working spaces in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. But you have choice in where and how you work. That means if you want to do your thing in the office (if you're near one), at home or a bit of both, it's up to you.**What you’d be doing in this role
- As Canva scales change continues to be part of our DNA. But we like to think that's all part of the fun. So this will give you the flavour of the type of things you'll be working on when you start, but this will likely evolve.- Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations and events held in our public facing cafe, Canva Space, ensuring seemless customer service experiences.
- Lead, inspire and nurture a high performing team (Chef, FOH and Barista)
- Craft seasonally delicious food and beverage menus and liaise with external industries and communities to create catering menus for a variety of events in Canva Space.
- Engage and build relationships with internal (Hospitality Manager, broader Vibe and People Teams) and external stakeholders
- Monitor and develop SOP's for continuous improvement opportunities in the Canva Space
- Maintain accurate sales records and be motivated to increase daily turnover
- Collaborate with partners to understand their event objectives, budget and requirements

- you're able to work Monday to Fridays on-site (weekends off)
- you have experience leading day to day operations within hospitality
- you have experience and a passion for leading and developing teams
- you're experienced in crafting beautiful spaces for hosting events
- you have proven food and beverage knowledge, including menu creations
- you're passionate about hospitality, bringing all the positive, energetic and upbeat vibes
- you have a welcoming and generous approach to customer service creating an inclusive space for all
- you have the skills to adjust your communication style depending on various situations and stakeholders.

- Canva Space is Canva's first public facing cafe that operates Monday to Friday from 7am to 2pm. After 2pm it becomes a multi functional event space for registered NFP's, the local community and Canva to use. Canva Space is an opportunity for us to demonstrate our values and connect with the community by sharing our special and unique culture. We want our customers to feel a real sense of what it is like to be a part of the Canva family by fostering a warm, welcoming and inclusive space for people to eat, work, meet and host events.- Canva Space plays a meaningful role in our 2 steps plan; to be the most valuable company in the world that does the most good.
