**About the Roles**:
You will provide assurance leadership with a focus on fostering a team-oriented culture, have an engaging and collaborative style, and have an ability to oversee delivery of concurrent reviews on complex topics.
Portfolio Manager, Internal Audit (Corporate Internal Audit)
As the Portfolio Manager, Internal Audit, you will be expected to execute on the Strategic Internal Audit Plan, by leading and performing independent internal audits across a range of varied and complex areas that are consistent with Melbourne Water’s risk environment.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in internal auditing, particularly within a complex or similar environment.

Portfolio Manager, Internal Audit (Integrated Management System “IMS”)
The Portfolio Manager, Internal Audit (IMS) primarily focuses on leading a portfolio of internal audits that assess Melbourne Water’s conformance with key compliance standards. These include ISO standards (such as 9001, 14001, 22000, 45001) and HACCP.
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in internal audit, preferably with a working knowledge of applicable ISO standards and frameworks.

In these roles you will:
- Contribute to Internal Audit’s leadership and strategic direction.
- Lead and program-manage a portfolio of concurrent internal audits within agreed budgets, time limits and quality expectations.
- Partner with the Head of Internal Audit to contribute to annual and dynamic risk-based internal audit planning.
- Provide strategic guidance and contribution during reviews to the audit team, assisting the scoping, fieldwork, and reporting. Support the audit team by creating, reviewing, and providing feed
- on audit deliverables.
- Resolve audit delivery issues escalated by the internal audit team.
- Partner with the Head of Internal Audit to contribute on Board and Executive Committee reporting/presenting.
- Support other audit portfolios where applicable.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve and evolve the Internal Audit function.
- Form effective working relationships with key stakeholders across Melbourne Water.
**About you**:
- Extensive experience in the development and implementation of a strategic, risk-based internal audit program.
- Proven track-record of leading audit delivery teams, and ability to delivery independent assurance utilising internal audit methodologies, techniques, and strategic reporting.
- Experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills which demonstrate capability to present to a range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience in management systems and ISO standards.
- Relevant internal audit qualifications, namely Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Highly advantageous.
