As our Internal Auditor you'll join a high performing team planning and executing audits, identifying and evaluating potential risks or weaknesses in internal processes, review and analyse financial data. You will report to the Head of Finance and in this role, you will be responsible for the following duties
- Conduct internal audit review, perform audit assignments and present audit findings to the management.
- Prepare audit reports outlining future action plans
- Scrutinize and evaluate financial statements, other financial reports, and reconciliations to comply with the accuracy, conformance, and procedural standards.
- Ensure the internal financial and operational structures and systems meets compliance and integrity.
- Monthly financial analysis on KPIs with a comprehensive commentary to aid the management decisions.
- Assisting in preparing budgets and forecasting, performing variance analysis between budget and actual figures and advising of cost controls.
- Understanding the organization’s policy and guidelines.
- Evaluating risk factors within the organization.
- Evaluating the internal controls and providing recommendations for improvement.
- Engage with internal departments within the business to help improve the processes.
- Be the main point of contact for finance-related issues, handling confidential information, and any other tasks related to payment service providers.
- Communicate with Payment service Providers, Banks, and electronic money institutions.
- Handle settlement reconciliation and chase up payment service providers when necessary.
- Provide continuous reporting on issues and update the reconciliation status to the Finance Manager.
- Ensure Triannual processes are up to date and write manuals for newly created tasks.

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or a Business discipline.

2+ years relevant Industry experience.

The ability to learn new technologies quickly.

An analytical mind.

The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues.

Good communication skills - both written and verbal.

Attention to detail and desire to probe further into data.
