**What You Will Be Doing**

Ward Clerks in the Frankston Public Surgical Centre are integral members of the team responsible for a range of duties that contribute to the provision of an efficient environment for patients, visitors, and staff. As a member of the clerical team all staff are expected to become multi-skilled and capable of working in all clerical areas of the Surgical Centre. This role will be working on main reception with the ability to work on Jubilee ward for leave coverage.
The Ward Clerk reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager of Jubilee ward at Frankston Public Surgical Centre. The Ward Clerk is responsible for presenting a professional, welcoming and informative reception to patients and visitors. Additionally they provide efficient and effective general clerical support and respecting confidentiality at all times.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- Previous experience in a health setting
- Demonstrated competency in medical terminology
- Sets personal standards of excellence and measures and delivers outcomes in a timely manner.
- Addresses priority tasks first

**Additional Requirements**
- Please refer to salary circular for Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 for salary range. Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
