We’re seeking passionate Support Workers who are interested in a rewarding career within the support service sector. This vital frontline role will entail supporting clients in the South Eastern Melbourne Metropolitan area.

You will be part of a supportive team and with your initiative and commitment, you will help nurture an environment that encourages the development of daily living, social and recreational skills that maximise independence and assist our clientele to achieve their personal goals and assist to keep their health stable.

**Your Role Will Include**:

- Supporting social, vocational and community activities
- Assist clients to develop community skills. This could include tasks like budgeting, shopping, cooking and management of your home
- Support activities of mobility and transferring, which promote independence
- Support clients with necessary household duties such as cooking, cleaning and yard maintenance activities
- Support clients to keep themselves and their environments safe, clean and healthy
- Assists in medication management or attending medical appointments
- Developing relationships in the wider community
- Assisting in the development of care plans
- Secretarial support and/or assisting with administrative functions

**You will have (or be willing to obtain)**:

- Police check
- Driver’s license
- Your own insured vehicle
- First Aid Certificate
- NDIS worker orientation module
- Working with children check

A relevant qualification in Aged Care, Disability or Mental Health is preferred.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
