We’re on the lookout for an experienced and driven **PM Fleet Controller**to join our high-performing team in **Altona North**. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy optimizing transport operations while keeping safety and customer service at the forefront, this could be your next big move.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Manage daily pickups and deliveries to ensure on-time performance (DIFOT).
- Allocate fleet and driver resources to meet service and cost objectives.
- Monitor job progress and communicate delivery updates to customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, COR, Fatigue and Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Avoid and minimize exposure to rail linehaul cancellation, no-show and storage fees at Terminals with proactive planning.
- Report and manage incidents, including Drug & Alcohol testing and TRAC entries.
- Conduct thorough nightly handovers for seamless AM operations.
- Foster open communication across teams and branches.

**What you bring to the role**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience in planning/scheduling for PUD fleets (Melbourne Metro preferred).
- Sound knowledge of OH&S, COR, Dangerous Goods Code, and national transport legislation.
- Exceptional skills in planning, time management, problem-solving and communication.
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to influence and adapt.
- Experience working in a safety-first environment.
- Tertiary or TAFE qualifications in Transport & Logistics (desirable).

**KPIs You’ll Be Measured On**:

- Meeting safety lead/lag indicators.
- Completion of staff induction and competency assessments.
- Meeting customer DIFOT targets.
- Operating within budget and cost parameters.
