**About the role**

Education Training and Employment Australia are looking for Automotive Trainers in Heavy Vehicle.

The role requires an individual with experience in the field of Heavy Vehicle and hold the appropriate qualification. It is desirable that applicants have a minimum 3 years’ hands on experience in the particular field.

The position requires Trainers to support, educate and encourage our future generations of automotive technicians, you will be training and looking after International students as well as domestic students therefore a sound cultural understanding is required.

You will only be required to deliver the practical aspects of the modules.

Join a fun environment where the students are being supported by a student support officer so you only need to concentrate on the training only and nothing else.

We use an online platform called Moodle so everything is seamless and paperless.

**The Requirements**:

- 3+ years relevant experience within the field of either Heavy vehicle
- Hold a Certificate III in either a Heavy vehicle
- Ability to pass a Working with Children (WWC) to train individuals under the age of 18
- Current unrestricted SA driver's license
- Strong written, verbal communication skills and Functional computer skills
- Ability to self-manage own schedule within the requirements of the position
- TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
- The ability to correctly complete all paperwork within relevant time frames and ensuring compliance with RTO's requirements
- Must be fully vaccinated with proof of vaccination

The position requires someone who is willing to work as part of team and contribute to the outcomes and goals of the team

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Adelaide CBD, SA 5000: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
