Overview

Fabrication / Welding Trainer and Assessor – PEER, Adelaide, South Australia, Australia

Responsibilities
  • Deliver trade-based training programs to our learners.
  • Provide training, guidance, mentoring and coaching to VET in School students.
  • As a PEER Trainer and Assessor, mentor and support learners while studying towards a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
  • Support Trainers and Assessors as a Subject Matter Expert in knowledge and performance areas.
  • Work across a variety of teaching environments including VET in Schools, try-a-trade sessions and upskilling training.
Wages and Benefits
  • Qualified Trainer & Assessor Level 4 $49.53 - 61.90 P/H
  • Qualified Trainer & Assessor Level 3 $46.69 - $56.36 P/H
  • Subject Matter Expert Level 2 $41.04 - $51.29 P/H
  • Full time, casual, part time contracts available
  • Known hours of work and consistent income

Skills And Experience
  • Qualified tradesperson - Engineering Fabrication or Engineering Mechanical
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to pass Working with Children & National Police Checks
  • Proven track record in inspiring, supporting, motivating people and fostering a positive, creative and rewarding culture
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
  • Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116), or willingness to study
