**About the opportunity**
The Construction coordinator works closely with the Construction team and reports to the State Construction Coordinator - Team Leader and is part of the South Coast MJH team. The key focus of this role is to provide an exceptional customer experience to clients throughout their exciting journey building a new home. More specifically, you will:
- Be the critical conduit between the client and the business, providing all customers with an unbeatable customer service experience including dispute resolution and negotiation skills
- Work within a fast-paced energetic team, providing quick solutions to any problems which may arise
- Reporting on progress and challenges.
- Liaising with Councils and Building Certifiers where required
- Help to ensure that the administrative tasks meet each critical deadline to keep the clients’ administrative process on track within the specified timeframe

You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- A commitment to providing all customers with a professional and unbeatable customer experience
- Previous experience in a customer service role
- The ability to work under pressure successfully managing multiple clients and prioritising workloads
- Ideally some knowledge of the residential construction industry (building your own home etc)
- Ideally have ability to read plans, knowledge of council function and understanding of contracts and basic estimating and construction knowledge
- intermediate knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
