**The Position & The Organisation**

Our client is a well-known, national business operating within the NFP sector. This Human Resource Advisor position will commence on a 6-month temporary assignment, they will be responsible for supporting generalist human resource functions, with a specific focus on employee relations. To be successful in this role you will be an experience HR generalist professional, who is very experience in case management and employee relations.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide informed and timely advice to key internal stakeholders regarding the delivery of HR services including workforce management strategies, recruitment and selection, industrial relations, organisational health services, change management strategies and workforce management issues;
- Implement and manage probationary processes and reviews including providing advice and training to supervisors on best practice procedures;
- Interpret legislation, including awards and regulations and provide HR and industrial relations advice to stakeholders;
- Support the training needs analysis of staff to identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate training strategies and programs, and support the delivery of employee related skills training to frontline management;
- Perform and document risk assessments, ensuring corrective actions are allocated and implemented to remove or minimise risk to the workforce;
**Skills and Experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related business management discipline;
- Demonstrate flexibility and proactiveness to ensure workloads are effectively managed and prioritised in an everchanging environment;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence, lead, coach and develop others;
- The ability to work collaboratively to support the wider HR team on key business initiatives and to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
