As our Office & Culture Manager you would run the office “ship” with safety, health and wellbeing front of mind and coordinate and deliver our team activities.
**The Opportunity**: You’ll be the go-to person for all things office and culture-related, helping ensure our great office in Manly runs smoothly and cohesively. You will have a passion for supporting others and care deeply about an inclusive work environment that allows all of our team to bring their best selves to work.

So what’s involved?
Office environment
- Manage office operations, including facility management, supplies, and equipment needs.
- Design and implement ways to improve and simplify our office operations, we are always open to doing things better. Our goal is to keep paperwork to a minimum whilst ensuring the team is transparent and informed.
- Support team collaboration and workflow, maintaining an overview of leave records, coordinating travel and accommodation, and preparing itineraries and reports.
- Helping with professional documentation (e.g. board reports, presentations and reports), and office finances such as company cards
- Coordinating ad hoc projects such as office refurbishments as our team grows
Employee experience
- Be a culture champion and look for new and innovative ways to ensure we continue to be an incredible place to work.
- Play a role in the coordination of the recruitment process, interview scheduling, social media post etc.
- Lead the onboarding process ensuring new colleagues have a professional and smooth onboarding experience setting them up for success.
- Assist with developing a plan for ongoing education and training initiatives for team members
- Plan and execute team activities and events to help create stronger connections and bonds
- Be the first point of contact for work health and safety matters and working with our team to ensure our office environment is safe, comfortable and free from hazards.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years relevant work experience in a similar role, ideally with a combination of office management and operations - experience in human resources would be a bonus but not essential.
- A passion for sustainability and for helping to make workplaces operate seamlessly, delivering a great experience to employees.
- Proactive team player, self-starter with proven ability to multitask and prioritise.
- An empathetic team-member who loves getting to know people and brings social energy to a group. Loves to bring people together, have fun, and foster meaningful relationships and growth.
- A highly accountable and organised person who is skilled at process improvement and project management.
- Sound Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
